Garden Lime is a dust-free granular soil conditioner that neutralises acidic soils without the handling inconvenience of powdered alternatives. By raising soil pH, it enables beneficial bacteria to unlock plant nutrients trapped in acid conditions. This versatile amendment adds calcium and magnesium whilst improving drainage in heavy clay soils. It's particularly effective at reducing club root risk in brassicas. Apply from September onwards on acid soils, or every two to three years on neutral soils. The granular format minimises leaf contact, making application straightforward. Garden Lime also accelerates compost decomposition when incorporated into your composting system.
