(M) Corylus Avellana Contorta 5L

This sizable deciduous shrub reaches a height of approximately 6 meters. It features prominently twisted branches that support broadly heart-shaped, slightly twisted and contorted, mid-green leaves with toothed edges. During autumn, these leaves turn a vibrant yellow. In late winter and early spring, the shrub produces pendent yellow male catkins, which are followed by brownish fruits in late summer.
